PRIVACY POLICY
Who we are
This policy covers loganryles.com and the Logan Ryles email list, run by Leonine Creative, LLC ("we"), which publishes under the pen name Logan Ryles. It explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Effective October 19, 2026. If we change this policy, we'll update the date here.
What we collect
We collect personal information only when you give it to us:
Email signup (free books, newsletter, offers): your email address and, if you provide it, your first and last name.
Contact form: your name, email address, and whatever you write in your message.
We don't sell anything on this site and don't collect payment information.
Cookies and technical data. Like most websites, we and the services we use may set cookies and collect basic technical data such as browser type, device, pages visited, and approximate location from your IP address. We use this to understand site traffic and, where we run ads, to measure them. Our Cookie Policy explains which cookies we set and how to control them.
How we use and share it
We use your information to send you the emails you signed up for, answer your messages, and understand how the site and our ads perform. Where EU or UK law applies, we rely on your consent for marketing emails and on our legitimate interest in running the site and responding to you.
We never sell your personal information. We share it only with services that help us run things:
Kit, which stores our mailing list and sends our emails.
Meta and Google, for advertising. We may upload subscriber email addresses to reach existing readers or people with similar interests; these platforms match addresses against their own users.
Our website host and similar providers, as needed to operate the site.
Each of these handles your data under its own privacy terms.
Your choices and rights
Unsubscribe anytime using the link at the bottom of every email, or by emailing us.
Ask what information we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted.
Object to how we use your information, restrict it, or withdraw consent you've given.
To exercise any of these, email logan@loganryles.com. We'll respond within 30 days. If you live in the EU or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Storage and security
Your information is stored and processed in the United States on our providers' servers. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it, including reputable providers and limited access, but no system is perfectly secure.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as you're subscribed or we need it to respond to you. When you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data, we remove you from our active list and keep only what's needed to honor your unsubscribe request.
Children
This site is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us their information, email us and we'll delete it.
